Matrimonial alliances of Mughals

Abul Fazal says that in order to soothe the mind of Zamindars , Humayun after reconquering India from Surs, entered into matrimonial alliances with them.

So when Hasan khan Mewati, who was the cousin of Jamal khan Mewati,'one of the great Zamindars of India' submitted to Humayun,He married one of his daughters himself and married the younger sister to Bairam Khan.It was said that Akbar married the widowed wife of Bairam Khan when Bairam khan was killed near Ahmedabad enroute to Mecca. It may be the same lady whom Akber married. He brought up Bairams son Abdur Rahim Khan-i-khanan son as his own. Many writer assign political reason for Bairam Khans displacement. But given Emperor Akber's romantic temperament it may be his love affair that led to the fate of Bairam Khan…..Possible…..what do you think?
