This week we, the Indians witnessed two disgraceful events. One is Home Minister Mr. P Chidambaram offering cease-fire to the anti-social CPI (Maoist). Second one is the inauguration of an farce called "Aman Ki Asha".
CPI (Maoist) is not a pro-poor or pro tribal party as they call themselves. This can be understood better by studying the activities of the Maoist groups. Almost all the people killed by Maoists are poor or Middle class people. Maoist henchmen usually target Class 4, or group D,group C government employees and carefully avoid killing Top bureaucrats and political leader. Until now only a handful of this creamy layer have been eliminated by Maoist. The Government accuses them of extorting money from Rich business houses, but the money them amass looting poor people is much more than the wealth they loot from capitalist. Maoist bands simply pass time in the forests. They neither earn, nor cook; they only snatch it from the poor men's plate. Though they project themselves as people who are fighting for poor, they are, in reality, are bunch of hired goons who are working for Capitalists, politicians and their white color stooges. They are not really bothering abought poor, they are only bother about their capitalist friends. If anybody starts competing with established business house naxals promptly remove them branding them"exploiters".
They only kill Constable and jawans. This is an attempt to dissuade the poor and dalits from taking up government job.(The top naxal leadership is predominantly upper caste).They also take good care to see that tribal's remain under their (upper caste) leadership, and if they find any tribal trying to become naxal fish him branding him to be an informer. For example in Karnataka Naxals were busy killing some poor petty shop owner like "sheshappa handa". At the same time some people encroached public lands and looted its natural resources. The grew rich, right in front of the eyes of nasals. Surprisingly this is happening in the areas which are "infested" by naxals. Naxal have a share in mining industry in states like Chhattisgarh. The possibilities of them profiting from Mining trade in Karnataka cannot be ruled out. Though B.J.P leads the rhetoric against Maoist, strangely enough they are rewarding intellectuals with Maoist links with a chairmanship of an autonomous body. (Rehabilitation package?).naxal profess themselves to be the messiah of unemployed youth, but at the time of their entry into karnataka a recruitment agency had degerated into a marriage bureau!. They have lot of issues if they wanted to fight. Yet naxal choose Western Ghats as their laboratory. I suspect they have chosen this area to promote cultivation of narcotics.
In a nutshell, CPI(Maoist) is a party led by Upper Class leadership who have enlisted tribal's to do the dirty work as they (leader) enjoy the hospitality of their patrons( Politicians in powers and top babus and Capitalists). That's the reason why they do not have a face. No top leader is interested in public appearance. They flaunt the picture of Mao and Che but they themselves are media shy.No, not because of the fear police repression, it is because here, money is good. Good enough to keep their alter ego's satisfied. Otherwise they would be certainly hankering for glory.
So no wonder they use their contacts in the govt and make the Home minister offer cease fire.
And second thing "Aman Ki Asha" is shit. from this platform we tell the kith and Kins of Kasab'" Welcome to India and kill us, we are a killer friendly nation". I see them on TV talking in seminars. Arguing endlessly. Yesterday they were great actors, sportsmen, Writers, Jurists, businessmen, academicians, and arists. But I don't know why on this platform they look like "SHITS".
